Athens Technical Collegeis situated in the city of Athens in Georgia, USA. It has been educating students for the past 45 years in the ten-county service areas around the college. ATC offers over 34 programs in areas such as business, health, technical, legal and manufacturing for an associates degree, diploma or certificate. A few courses atAthens Technical Collegeare also available through distance learning systems.

All courses atAthens Technical Collegeare regionally accredited by the Commission on Colleges of the Southern Association of Colleges and Schools, Decatur, Georgia. The paralegal studies program is approved by the American Bar Association. It provides education that enables students to work as legal assistants after completion of the course.

For admission to this program, students should possess SAT scores of no less than 480 verbal, 450 math for the associate degree or equivalent scores on a comparable test. They should also have a high school diploma or GED.After graduation, students have the choice to continue their education at the baccalaureate level.

This course teaches students to be competent in the areas of real estate, communications, mathematics, interpersonal relations, civil and criminal litigation, legal research and writing, family law, wills, trusts, probate administration, torts and contracts. Students require at least 115 quarter credit hours to earn their associates degree. Those who graduate are eligible to sit for the voluntary national certification exam.
