Students interested in pursuing a career as a legal assistant or paralegal are required to first clear an aptitude examination. The college currently offers a non-degree certificate program and a post-baccalaureate certificate course in paralegal studies.

The paralegal studies program teaches students the fundamentals of the legal system as well as how a law office operates. Emphasis is placed on learning the rudiments of legal research and organization as well as negotiation and interviewing techniques. The course will include subjects like litigation, case analysis, business organization and legal practice and procedures. Students will also undergo an internship period in order to gain practical experience in the paralegal field.
