Description
Manor College was established in 1947 by the Byzantine Ukrainian Sisters of Saint Basil the Great. It is accredited by the Middle States Association of Colleges and Secondary Schools. It offers several programs that can lead to an associate's degree, diploma or certificate. It has been offering paralegal studies since 20 years. Its legal studies programs are fully approved and accredited by the American Bar Association. Manor College offers four different legal studies tracks; General Studies, Employee Benefits, Litigation and Government Administration. Its flexible schedules are a blessing for students who can opt for classes during the day, in the evening, on weekends as well as online. The students benefit as the institution subscribes to the computer assisted legal research database, WESTLAW. Faculty members are professionally qualified attorneys and paralegals who are experts in their respective fields. Students are offered internship options as well as placement assistance. The institution offers an associate in science paralegal program, and post-baccalaureate paralegal certificate program. Arcadia University Peirce College, Cabrini College Penn State University, Chestnut Hill College Rosemont College, Cornell University Temple University, Gwynedd-Mercy College University of Pennsylvania, Holy Family University Wharton School of Business, Immaculata College Villanova University, and the LaSalle University Widener University are some of the institutions that students have transferred to. Transfer counseling is made available to the students. The Basileiad Library has more than 4,000 volumes of up-to-date legal research tools that are extremely useful to the paralegal students. It has several computer workstations to aid in online research too. It also offers students access to a huge amount of electronic data too. Besides, it has a convenient student store on campus providing books, clothes, stamps etc. Lifetime placement service is also offered to students who graduate.
