Description

Laramie County Community College was founded in the year 1968 and is accredited by the Higher Learning Commission of the North Central Association of Colleges and Schools. It offers several programs that can lead up to associate's degrees as well as certificates. It is possible for students to earn more than one degree at a time in LCCC. It has 92 full-time faculty members and 268 part-time faculty members.

Laramie County Community College offers regular classroom programs, evening classes, weekend classes as well as distance mode of education such as correspondence, online, telecourse etc. It offers more than 72 degree and 15 certificate programs.

The library is well stocked with an excellent variety of books and houses nearly 50,000 books. Financial aid is available to deserving students such as federal and state grants, loans, scholarships and work-study programs etc. The American Bar Association the Standing Committee on Legal Assistants has approved the Legal assistant program that is offered by the institution.
