Description
Lamar State College is a public two-year college that was established in the year 1909. It is accredited by the Commission on Colleges of the Southern Association of Colleges and Schools to award associate degrees. It is also approved by the Texas Education Agency for the training of veterans. The financial aid department assists students in securing financial aid such as federal and State packages. The faculty members are professionally qualified and experts in their respective fields. Students can avail of peer tutoring services free of charge to the students. It offers an Associate of Applied Science Legal Assistant Degree. The successful graduates can find employment with private law offices, corporations, government offices and private agencies.
