Lakeshore Technical College offers associate degree, technical diploma, technical certificate, advanced technical certificate, Individualized Technical Studies (ITS), Adult Basic Education (ABE), High School Equivalency Diploma (HSED), and General Education Development (GED) programs. It offers classes in the day, evening as well as during weekends. It is accredited by the Higher Learning Commission of the North Central Association of Colleges and Schools. It offers regular classes as well as distance education modes of education. The faculty members are well-trained and experienced individuals. Lakeshore Technical College offers an Associate in Applied Science Degree in Paralegal studies, which are approved by the American Bar Association. the curriculum includes the following courses Introduction to Paralegalism and Legal Ethics, Real Estate Law - Paralegal, Written Communications, Sociology - Introduction to Elective, Accounting for Professionals OR Accounting I, Civil Litigation I, Legal Research, Family Law, Speech, Introduction to Psychology, Computer Applications-Legal, Civil Litigation II, Legal Writing, Administrative Law, Introduction to American Government, Legal Aspects of Business Organizations, Administration of Estates Paralegal Internship OR Paralegal Studies, Criminal Law-Paralegal, Introduction to College Mathematics, and Economics. Courses such as Employment Law, Debtor and Creditor Relations and Accounting Income Tax I are also available. Financial aid such as Federal and state aid programs are available and deserving students may also avail of the LTC Foundation scholarships. A well-stocked library is also available for students to conduct research. The course is much in demand as the job outlook is very good with many opportunities in a variety of fields.
