Description
Gannon University is situated in the city of Erie, Pennsylvania, which is one of the biggest port cities located on the banks of the Great Lakes. It is a private, co- educational and Catholic university that offers undergraduate and graduate level courses in liberal arts and professional specializations. Presently, there are around 3,500 students registered at the college. U.S. News & World Report has constantly ranked Gannon University in the top 50 colleges of the northern part of the United States. The college was founded in 1925 and has a library with around 280,000 bound volumes. Paralegal courses at this university consist of three options – a bachelor degree, an associate degree and a certificate. The Baccalaureate Degree Program is a four year 128 credit hour course. It has been created to train students for advanced positions in the Paralegal profession. It consists of 42 credit hours in Liberal Studies, 34 credit hours of Professional Studies, 24 credit hours in supplementary requirements and 28 credit hours in electives. The two year Associate Degree at Gannon University is useful for students who have part time jobs. It is a 64 credit hour course that consists of liberal studies, professional courses, supplementary work, cognate classes and an internship. The Paralegal Certificate suits students who already have a previous degree. It may be earned by completing 18 to 25 credit hours of legal service courses. All courses are ABA approved.
