Description
The main campus of Gadsden State Community College can be found in the city of Gadsden in Alabama State, USA. It is a public community college that offers the first two years of a bachelor’s degree and other certificate programs. The college has other centers located at Wallace Drive, East Broad, Valley Street and Ayers. Gadsden State Community College has one of the lowest tuition rates for associate degrees in the state. The small class size and low student to teacher ratio ensure that students receive individual attention for their needs. Studies may be started during any term – fall, spring or summer. Transferring to a bachelor’s degree is possible if courses are chosen carefully. The Paralegal program at Gadsden State Community College is a two-year Associates degree. It is only available at the Wallace drive campus in Gadsden and the Ayers campus in Anniston. Students can choose to go for evening and online learning programs if they are currently employed. Students from other institutions may transfer credits of Legal Specialty courses here. The main goal of the program is to provide a general education with an emphasis on substantive law, procedural law and ethical principles. Students undergo an internship to prepare them for the job of a legal assistant. This course is approved by the ABA and the Commission on Colleges of the Southern Association of Colleges and Schools accredits the college.
