Description
The Community College of Aurora can be found in the city of Aurora, Colorado. It offers students as many as 40 associate degrees and certificates in various fields of vocational education such as film technology, computers, medicine, law and police training. Classes for these courses are available at convenient times and locations. They include online, hybrid, evening and weekend classes. The Community College of Aurora has seven outreach locations in the city of Aurora. It also has two campuses located at Lowry and CentreTech Parkway through which it offers classes. The tuition fees at this college are much lower than what you are charged for the same training at public or private universities. Plus, students are also provided financial assistance if needed. The Community College of Aurora offers two Associate degrees and one certificate program in paralegal studies. The Associate of General Studies transfers to the University of Colorado at Denver for majors in Political Science or Sociology. The Associate of Applied Science in Management with a Paralegal Emphasis prepares students for careers in law, government and business. The Paralegal Certificate is meant for students who already have a degree. The college is accredited by the Commission of Institutions of Higher Education of the North Central Association of Colleges and Schools. The paralegal courses are approved by the American Bar Association since 1993. After completion of the courses students are provided internships.
